About the Application Process: - Click the links above to download the Application Instructions, Application Form and Recommendation Form. For your convenience, the Application Form itself may be completed using Adobe Acrobat Reader, but you will need to check-off the applicable boxes manually.
- Completed applications, including all supporting material, must be postmarked by February 1, 2007.
- Interviews will be scheduled for the finalists in April and May.
- The first fellowship will be awarded in early June.
- At the discretion of the Admissions Committee, one or two fellowships will be awarded per year.
The Fellowship Program: - The T Fellowship is a one-year program. The first year will run from September 2007 through August 2008.
- Phase One is the Rotation Phase during which the fellow may take classes and apprentice/observe through placements “in the field” with working professionals. In addition, the fellow will be working to identify and/or develop a new theatrical production. The curriculum and placements for the Rotation Phase will be tailored to the specific needs of the individual fellow.
- Phase Two is the Project Phase during which the fellow will produce and present the work they have developed.
- Committee members will serve as mentors to the fellow throughout the Program.
Fellowship Stipend and Expenses: - Each fellow will be awarded an annual stipend of $14,000, payable in installments over the course of the year.
- Each fellow will be awarded a $20,000 budget for the development of new work.
